Lady Snowblood by Kazuo Koike and Kazuo Kamimura — Complete 2-Volume Set (1972–1973)

This is a two-volume set of Playboy Extra: Shurayukihime (Lady Snowblood), published by Shueisha in 1972 and 1973. Written by Kazuo Koike and illustrated by Kazuo Kamimura, this classic gekiga work follows Yuki, a woman born for revenge in the Meiji era.

The series is highly regarded for Kamimura’s delicate and sensual artwork, as well as its hard-boiled storytelling, and was later adapted into film. It is also widely known overseas under the title Lady Snowblood and gained renewed attention for its influence on Quentin Tarantino’s work.

Consisting of the December 10, 1972 issue and the March 15, 1973 issue, this set is known as the earliest standalone book-format edition of Lady Snowblood, making it an important release in the history of the series.

Available at Maboroshi Mart (if currently in stock).
