About Us

About Maboroshi Mart

Maboroshi Mart is an Osaka-based online store specializing in Japanese subculture and collectible publications.

We offer a carefully selected range of photobooks, manga, illustration books, film-related materials, posters, and other items that reflect Japan's unique creativity and cultural heritage. Rather than focusing on mass-produced merchandise, we seek out works with artistic value, historical significance, and distinctive cultural appeal.

Maboroshi Mart is operated by the same seller behind TANTAN JAPAN, an eBay store that has been selling Japanese books and collectibles to international customers since 2023. Drawing on our experience in international sales, we source items from bookstores, collectors, and local markets across Japan and ship directly from Osaka to customers worldwide.

Our aim is to create a small gateway between Japanese subculture and collectors around the world — a place for rare discoveries and unexpected encounters.

If you're looking for something specific from Japan, please feel free to contact us. We're always happy to help.
